I am going up on saturday and will be posting flyers on as many clasics as I can find for our disabled childrens charity event on 7 July 13.

Sorry to miss you then. I'll be there on Sunday.
Our club is planning to enter the Martock charity run. Looks like a grand day out! If you can get free entry to Haynes museum you should attract the local mini world and his dog

Thanks Sal How can I get a logo like yours at bottom of posts???, its fab.

There is a thread on here somewhere that links to a site that you can design them on.

I cannot for the life of me remember where the thread is or the sites called though at the moment.

I try and do a search unless anyones else knows.

Hi, I tried to get free entry to the museum best they could offer was -£1.00 off on each ticket. Which will be included on the drivers vehicle packs.

Has your club sent vehicle entry forms to us, as not received any yet. http://retrofundrais...ooking form.pdf

I am thinking of fitting front coil springs to replace rubber cones. I have some Hi lows "in stock" Does anyone have any experience on how the conversion is carried out? I remember watching TV Wheeler Dealers and Ed China had some springs made. Cant remember if you need any special tools to get the old rubber cone out?

This would also help with fitting W&P arches with my 12" wheels which are to close to the metal wing. Been stood for 8 years without moving and its a bit low I think on the front. I have rear coil over springs so can raise the back to level it up etc.

Comments, hints and advice welcome!
Thanks
Garry

I would advice against fitting W&P with 12" wheels. At least, it doesn't really work on my Van but maybe thats because of the width (12x6).

Theres a tool for compressing the rubber cone in order to remove the assembly.

Nice Van by the way, keep the Vans alive!

Thanks I belive my wheels are 12 x 5. Its going into bodyshop to have the front corners of wings removed & new lip formed.

Yeah keep the Vans alive. When do we get our "van section" on the forum?

Keep in mind that the W&P is shaped to the original lip, enlarging the lip will cause an issue when fitting your arch. I heated and reshaped my arch, but still it's not 100%

I agree we should have our own section.

I can think of at least 5 or 6 on going builds and there must be other people out there with road going vans.

I mean there's a hole separate section for mini's with funny engines!
