No I haven't, I have a crappy old Metro sitting on somebody elses driveway with pretty much no paint and thats about it. But I'm not the one trash talking other peoples cars :-)

Are we not allowed not to like to something anymore? You like it, fine, I don't. I don't appreciate the engineering because it is pointless. If it is a piece of 'art' that is different. Either way I wouldn't pay to see it buy annoyingly in a roundabout way I did. If you want to see engineering with a point ( and just as well done) give me a shout you are welcome to come and have a look.

The point you're missing is the thing that you're arguing precisely. It has a point to the owner... your cars and projects have a point to you. A car doesn't have to be innovative or evolutionary to have a 'point'.

But it's his car to trash so I guess as long as it keeps him happy in broadmoor.........

Well obviously the point you are missing is that I didn't miss that point, as I said before I am sure he is very happy with his creation.

But I still don't like it ;-)

Pass the bucket over!!

Oh and my two penn'eth!

I admit to being MrStandardKeepItOriginalBoringPants....... but I love seeing the variations at the mini shows and totally agree that if all were like ours the shows would be pretty darn boring.

Even if not to my taste I always appreciate the work done!!

Sitting back and eating popcorn now :D

Sooooo

Did anyone spot the bargain that was GT Challenge wheels for 100 quid! I did the most idiotic thing and walked on to look at other stuff I might buy because I'd only just arrived. Come back and they were gone. Probably could have made aneasy 2-300 quid on them even in the conditon they were in.

Don't get started, before you know it someone will say 'this thread isn't like my thread and it has to be like my thread to be any good' and you will say 'but I don't like your thread', he will say'how dare you? Everyone HAS to like my thread better as its the best' you will say ' but I am sorry I don't, he will accuse you of being childish, you will stick to your guns, he will say your threads are crap even though he hasn't seen them, you will say he hasn't got a clue about your threads............

It can only end in disaster.
