basically its a fiberglass panel that fits full width and theres a piece that comes out in the middle just in front of the gearlever which starts at he the top and goes all the way to the carpet. satin black sounds good to me!

nice job buddy, hope you got all you wanted.
Well... I was a-bit light headed when walking past names such as SC/DSN and a few others... But the price brought me back down to earth aha.

Stuart - you missed Trevor! and we missed you! Never mind - Trevor is on the MCR's stand at Brooklands so we'll see you then. I'm going to Brooklands for Austin and Morris day a couple of weeks before, but taking Milly the Maestro but I think Jason's away so Trevor will have to miss out . Anyway, here's what you missed - Trevor heading up the Clubman and 1275GT display

As I wasn't passing I gave it a miss. I didn't fancy a 400 mile round trip just to see some Minis in a shed. Hopefully it will be sunny at Brooklands, I'll be parking on the banking as usual.

will do
ive got a picture of the m3 mini if anyone wants to see? its only a quick shot from the front though nout special
Stick it up in here Joe.
I'd like to get a better look but I doubt it will sway me.
ALOT of work had gone into it considering pretty much every part was custom made and one of a kind but parts of it looked really naff and odd as it wasn't smoothed in at all, like the piece that goes up the pillar on the side of the windscreen and then just stops at the top. can just see it as it comes round the corner on widmscreen yak
bet it goes like S*** off a shovel! though, M3 power engine
Ive watched this mini coming together at Dereks Minis for maybe 12 years......its evolved a lot over time....maybe a bit too much in areas....but in terms of fabrication skills its a work of art......maybe a Picasso.

The other thing that bugged me, was all the show cars and cars that were only for display. I could pick faults in their paint work, wether it be Swirls from improper washing technique or Holograms from bad use of a Rotary some pig tales on one of the Clubman's. Seems that even though they say they are mint restos. I'd be a bit miffed if paint came back to me like that especially considering the money they must have spent on it.....
A lot of the show cars are not just trailer queens... lots of them are used very often. Just because it's shiney and on display it doesnt mean it spends its life in a garage wrapped in cotton wool!
