The 4WD single engined moke has to be very rare too. Although there are a few in Australasia.

No, they had a gearbox conversion which had a gear coming off the crown wheel to the rear wheels. Special tubing had a rally mini clubman running it. She is still around IIRC.

Just gonna leave it saying special tubing, because it's really really funny...

The only thing stoping me from painting mine red is the sun fade,Would be good if there was something that you could put on to stop it from fadeing.
Your mini is perfect in my opinion apart from the rover looking wing mirrors (Again that only my opinion)still, think you should get some retro tex mirrors :P

This question pops up quite a lot on forums, lots of Minis are rare for different reasons, low volume factory production (970 S), conversions that didn't sell that well (Wildgoose), or they were seen as disposable at one point in their lives (vans / pickups). We are lucky that some survived and we get to enjoy them now, personal favorites include, period coachbuilt cars (Radford / Hooper ect), Genuine Minisprints, Period race cars, Mini based conversions (Marcos ect), Genuine Coopers and S's, ect. I'm sure one day people will look back at 80's and 90's Hot Hatches in the same way, when was the last time you saw a Renult 5 Turbo, Uno Turbo, 205 GTi, RS Turbo, Sierra Cosworth ect being used as everyday transport, there was a point where they were on every street corner, just like Mini's

What about the ERA mini turbo? would be very rare to

Figures courtesy of eraturbo.co.uk from a couple of years ago..
Statistics

UK Cars

99 UK spec cars were built, of these :-

4 are known to of been stolen or written off

9 were exported to Japan, though one of these has now been imported again.

5 were exported to Germany,

and 1 to the Sultan of Brunei.

Therefore there are a maximum of 81 cars in the UK, though I'm sure this figure is much lower.

Originally, 53 of the cars were Green,

30 Red,

9 Black,

4 White,

and 3 Silver.

Japanese Cars
337 Japanese spec cars were built, of these :-
157 were in Red,
and 180 in BRG.
