Hi!

We all know people say "wow that's a rare Mini", but what is the rarest?

By rare, I mean how many left in the UK/World

Thoughts?

I don't think it's possible for anybody to say. To some a rare Mini is a production car which has rusted away so quickly only a few are left and to others its a prototype.

So many models are pretty damn thin on the ground, that doesnt make them worth anything more though.

Possibly this months mini mag article, the Orange Clubman GT that has resently been removed from the longbridge site.

It sat in a tunnel for years, there is not one thing rare about it, its a Clubman.

As Craigy said, it depends what you mean by the term "rare". There a loads of unique minis around, I've never seen one like Vinnie, but does that mean he's rare or unique? I'd pick the latter.

Tbf 1275 GT is a rarer car than Mk3 Cooper S.
I definitely think rarity adds value. People will pay extra to have a rare car.
Just wondered which is the rarest Mini.
My thoughts are;
Mini Pickup
Mini Cooper S MK1
1275 GT
Mini LAMM Cabriolet

I definitely think rarity adds value. People will pay extra to have a rare car.

Cars like those will be in museums and preserved forever. Minis like this GTM are the real rarities
