I just hope no other members get stung by this seller as its been quite a stressful few days and nights not knowing what the outcome was going to be.

It was supposed to have a modified big valve head, instead it had a seriously rusty unmodified small valve
Uprated valve springs?
Didn't even change the water pump
Lightened flywheel?!
New HIF44 and inlet, the HIF is the only one I've seen with play in the spindle. Obviously the seller didn't intend Lee to use the water heating!
Essentially this was a second hand engine with a lick of paint and a shiny rocker cover, it hadn't even been re-bored

Surely you get to keep the roller rockers as you've paid for them ?
Yes mate that's true i have the roller rockers here as i lost my paypal claim for them i wasn't going to send them back with the engine.
Thankyou for posting those pics Luke they give other members an idea of the state this "new and unused from new" engine was in when i received it

changing inlet manifold etc can be done fairly cheap.
a donor 1275 in unknown condition is 200+ on ebay these days.
