Does any one know if there is a 1/4 inch drive spark plug socket available to buy????????

Never seen one !! but you could get a 1/4 socket to fit in a 3/8 1/2 drive spark plug socket.

You could give looking 1/4inch drive DEEP sockets a look, prob won't find much but its worth a look.

i cannot use a 3/8 drive ratchet as it will not fit in the space i have i need to use the small 1/4 inch ratchet.

get a 3/8 headed racket in a 1/4" rachet body :)

What application is it on ? a std mini you could use a 1inch drive on ? some of the 7/8 port heads are a bit tight

How about modifying a 3/8 drive socket to accept a 1/4" drive. Cut the 3/8" drive section off and weld in 1/4" drive section off an old socket.

You should only ever use a speed brace for spark plugs!!!!

I thought it may have been a 7/8 port head and yes it is tight I used a 3/8 plug socket ground down with a 3/8 UJ

This looks ok


Its the head on the 3/8 ratchet that fowls the jenveys. only slightly but as you cannot see anything you are relying on feel. It can be done but sometimes as the ratchet socket is on fully square you can crack a plug and they are not cheap.
