So this mess goes on and on, Jonspeed Racing put in a claim with CityLink too late. Jonspeed have offered to replace the engine, ie block and head. I'm expected to pay for everything else that was sent by courier, all ancillaries, gearbox, x pin diff, megajolt, modded turbo and manifold, plenum chamber etc etc etc.
I've been to trading standards and am following their advice, please be wary of anything to do with Jonspeed Racing and CityLink, I'm left with an immaculate mini (thanks to Cliff at Denty and Scratchy's) that was tailored to take an engine I can't afford to, and shouldn't have to replace at any cost to myself!

Thanks for the positive words guys, I've been down the small claims route previously and was awarded £6200, but the b@574rd never paid, so am reluctant to do that again as it cost me a lot of money along the way. Citizens advice have been far from helpful, just told me to look at their website and take it from there. All I can do is put the word out and hope people listen . . . . DON'T USE JONSPEED, AND BE VERY WARY OF CITYLINK!!!

CityLink won't deal with me as Jonspeed Racing ordered the collection, and Jonspeed are now refusing to deal with me also. They have washed their hands of it all, not returning calls or replying to emails. Andy (Jonspeed) that has dealt with things up to now knows the engine comes to rather a few grands worth as it was an original metro challenge cup engine, but it's not just the engine I've lost.
I sent him receipts of over £1000.00 worth of mods since they'd built the engine originally, some of the mods completed by themselves . . . .
NOT TO BE TRUSTED!!!

Surely if you have won in court, you are now able to proceed with the recovery of the money through the channels such as bailiffs etc. I would go see a solicitor and find out the next step.
They own assests such as machinary etc and are still trading, so they have money in one form or another. I would be seeking legal advice, dont give up.

This is with regards to a different matter, a guy by the name of Steve Donnelly formerly known as Sd Minis. As the money awarded was over £5000 I couldn't use the magistrate court bailiffs so took it to County court, after spending even more cash as I thought I was onto a winner . . . . I found out it's not so straightforward.
I had the last laugh though, I saw his old mini for sale and I know he loved it, so I've bought it for a nice price and she's currently on a jig in my unit getting rebuilt properly . . . . pictures WILL follow

Sorry to hear about this, hope it all works out for you. Pretty crappy to hear about not getting money back from SD. Nice to know you took his mini on, I remember seeing it on ebay.

Ahh, the infamous Steve, I hope you get your money back.
I saw his old car on ebay a bit ago, wasn't the engine in bits?
