We've owned Lulu for a year Today
Well I haven't updated this for a while as we haven't really touched it as the tax run out (didn't want to re-tax it for winter ...) . But will be getting a few things done like Waxoyling and derusting As there are a few bubbles on the doors and wings.
I've started making some speaker boxes for the speakers that Lulu85Ritz had in, I'm going to put a cover over them so they don't look so modern.
It was also in miniworl mag from the cornish mini run.
And one last pic
I have some plans for it in the new year But I'll Update the thread when I've done them.
I'll have to get it taxed again soon though as I passed my driving test today

I finally found a set of Ritz door cards from a member on here, they're not in as good of condition as the original ones though .
They looked pretty good in the pictures...
Held on withe electrical tape
Paint on the bottom and a small split
A bit more paint and you can see where a previous owner has put massive staples in the back to hold it down but has come through.
A bit of a surprise
Anyway, I've taken the covers off and used the old backs to make new cards, rather than using the same type of stuff I've used some corrugated plastic, which not only will not disintegrate is it gets wet, It was free
So I just need to clean the covers repair the rips and stick them back on, then I can fit them.
I also finished the main bits of the speaker boxes, just need to cut out a rectangle with a hole in it to mount the seaker on and then paint/ cover them.
Any comment welcome.

Just seen this... i was at the Mini run... I'm the guy in the pink t shirt stood next to the mini checkmate in the bottom LH photo in the minimal... what mag issue was this ??
on a less selfish note... good build... I'm going to do a rolling restro on the checkmate as my main project is the clubby that is stripped

Ace idea with the plastic. And I think I'll use those speaker box ideas for mine (if you dont mind of course). Not too keen on a full speaker board
