Cheer's minimuk,
After the MOT we noticed that the speedo wasn't working, but luckily had a spare one to fit got it out the, about a foot too long , So saturday night we fitted it anyway and it worked. After fitting thatt he indicators wouldn't work, so changed the fuse and bang it went again, took the speedo back off and turned out there was a cut in the wire which was shorting out, a bit of tape around it and they are working fine again.
Made it down to the riviera run on sunday, a bit noisy with no sound deadning and carpets, it was trying to suck in too much air due to the cone filter, you could tell as you could here it, so dad got out the duck tape and covered about half, which on the way made it run alot better and was sucking in about the right amount, you can see the duck tape on the picture of the engine below.
Some very nice minis down there.
Temporary way to hold the speedo surround on.
Bought a couple of bit's for it, window wiper motor cover, and standard filter housing, new front shocks as it had my gaz's on and another new speedo cable which is still to long .
Spot lights
Also changed the oil and oil filter the other day.
Thats about it really.

Okay cheers
Okay then, A bit more done to Lulu on friday. Dad took the different grey wheel off and gave it a quick paint with hamerite, also made a centre cap out of duck tape and a plastic lid the other wheels are "ultralite"
The other week we bought a couple of bits off "alexevans" on here. One being a standard rear veiw mirror as the other one was a bit wobbly and it looks a bit better.
Got the carpets in.
And the rear seatbelts.
Then From the peice of 2mm rubber sheet that we bought cut out a peice for the mirror mounts as there were wobbling and vibrating all over the place.
Then we went to a steam rally on saturday, Alot quieter with the carpet in.
