Heat dissipation, the crossing is a metal part under the bonnet.

Damn it <_< ,i feel so dumb now :(

Yeh it's from the cross brace on the inside, not necessarily heat dissipation though. This was taken first thing in the morning so there was no 'heat' under there

I think it looks quite good now.
Bring on the decals..

Decals?

Unfortunately the only mini in the snow picks I have from this year are it sitting at the side of the road, 3 miles from home because a brand new ignition modual failed.

^ This is true ^

I remember the bad winter 2 years ago and with 6x10s (165 tyres) on it was sliding around just as much as other cars, and I couldn't get up a hill from being stopped whereas a Peugeot 206 in front of me could. The handling was fine, it's a mini so obviously it's going to be fun to throw around and easy to control because it's light, so it's alright once it's moving.

However this year with the 3.5x10 steelies (145 tyres) it's SO much better it's unbelievable, the road holding in fresh snow is vastly improved and inspires much more confidence. Granted this may mean you do silly things like go 60 in the untouched, snow covered fast lane of a dual carriageway because you're bored of waiting behind sensible people driving at 30 in the slushy lane... but who would do a thing like that anyway... :whistling:
