Just putting the feelers out there. I purchased this golf just over a month back to use as a run about to get to work while I worked on my classic mini project.
Unfortunately, I am selling up my mini project as I don't have time to work on it, so now I have a bit more spare cash for something more modern (i.e MK4 GT TDI) which is also a bit quicker
Details;
The car is very tidy for its age, 90k on the clock and takes me from Plymouth to Exeter and back without skipping a beat. Heater works and so does the rear screen demister!
Tax is till end of March, Mot is till end April BUT I have it booked in for another MOT next Tuesday. So it will come with 12 months ticket, should sail through.
GTI Rear beam/discs at the back with good pads all around, so stopping power is insane for the little 1.3. It's been lowered on coilovers as you can see. (Perfect for a 1.8/2L conversion?!
)Two front new tires, rear ones have plenty of tread on them.
CL wing repeater blanks, clutch/gearbox are fine, engine doesn't loose oil or water or smoke or bang etc... It also has remote central locking!!
Price without MOT: £600
Price with MOT: £800
Will consider swap for a MK4 Golf GT TDI pd 110/115 or similar + cash your way.
It's still being used as a daily, so the mileage will obviously increase, but I only do Plymouth-Exeter-Plymouth two days a week
