Does anyone have an idea of how to remove the sunroof glass from a britax sunroof. The whole surround on my jet black is flaking and really needs removing to do a proper job of renovating it, but first i need to remove the glass and I can't work it out. Here are a few pics of the sunroof, I think it's pretty much a standard one fitted to 80's Minis.

You see the little red thing on the 'handle'? flick that and it will unclip the 'handle'. Then lift the glass to a near vertical position and it just pulls out

That's what I thought, but it didn't seem to do anything, I was trying in the dark though and didn't want to really tug to hard on it if I was doing it wrong. Will have a look tomorrow.
