So I thought I better start a thread for the new member of the family.
The mini hasn't been on the road since 1988, got just under 90000 miles on the clock. The body work has the usual rust places but looks solid enough. I am wanting to restore this to its former glory.





















So there it is folks, hopefully going to get the car home in the next cople of weeks so I can get stuck in to stripping it down. Opinions and comments welcome.

So this is the GT away to get tucked up in her new home to start the strip down.
The place that I bought this from was Simon at The Mini Works in Edinburgh top guy and very skilful at what he does check him out on Facebook just search for the mini works. Has a few cars up for sale at the moment as well. And has plenty of spare parts in his cave!
