as the title has anyone had a go at carbon skinning? if so what was the end result like? pics would be great as im thinking of giving it a go..

A Hairdryer and a felt squeegee. Its worth your money :)

is that just the sticky vynal or the carbon mating in thinking of actally skinning some parts in real carbon

Its the sticky vinyl stuff off e-Bay di-noc.

The one I'm interested in is Hydro Dipping, i got a quote to do bumpers on a Mini... £100.

there is someone on hear just got the equiptment to do carbon dipping im sure he will be offering good prices.. its the member that does the custom dip sticks..

im thinking of buying the kit from carbon mods and doing my centre binnacle and steering cowl. i have exposed weave bumpers already :-)

That hydro dipping does t have to be done in a solution water or normal clean water

one of the members on here had his wheels dipped with a wood vinyl... they look sick!!!

i think its a charged solution youtube has videos of the process

I meant to write bike not big sorry.
But no photo's the bikes long gone.

Do remember my first attempt looking poo though, requires some patience to get it done properly!
