Prob a stupid question lol but If you change my mk3 lights to Mk2 is there an easy way to mount a reversing light without drilling the boot lid? And where do you guys get that style of reversing light from?

Don't bother with a reverse light - not required.

I've fitted LED lights into the number plate bolts. :D Off eBay for a tenner.

No where near as bright as normal reverse lights but better than non and invisible when not in use!

I think that Rover should have done it that way, without the shiny surround, just a recess each side! Probably too penny-pinching to change the press tooling to make a properly recessed valance....

Not required to pass an MOT, but if you remove one where it was fitted as standard, be sure to advise your insurance company of the modification though, otherwise they may not pay out in the event of a claim that occurs as a result of you reversing, particularly if it were to involve a pedestrian, or happen during the hous of darkness.

Also.....it's a pain in the rear not having a reversing light.

I guess this is what you mean:

You have to drill through the boot-lid to fit it. It is a Lucas light and Holden Vintage & Classic do a good reproduction: 5 3/4 in Lucas Reproduction WFT576 Foglamp - Rear Mounted, £97.40 (in stock).
