bought one of these in preparation for painting the mini my self with 2k lol
That's not enough for 2K you need an airfed mask. Okay for celly though.

sorted the door frame of the drivers door before it gets rue skinned
then I had a look at the drivers door which I thought looked not bad.
how wrong was I? And how much paint do people need on a door lol another skin looks like.
any one passing any spares shops soon that could grab me one lol

Had this discussion with the paint shop and he said this will be fine as I'm not doing it for a living and it is made for 2k

well kept it going tonight but it was to late for the grinder by the time I got in the shed to de skin the other door so just prepped the new skin
shows how long its lay in there stock room lol
done
also payed a visit to a mates work (car detailer) as he had some automotive porn in the work shop lol
WARNING EXPLICIT CONTENT lol
Kleenex anyone? Lol he's getting a Lamborghini in 2 weeks so will have to pop down for that lol

Frame treated
but when I lined up the new skin I had a small problem !!!
the skin is a bit longer/wider than the frame ?? Lol a well al make it fit

just needs welding up. Both doors in this state just need to wait till there in there hole to weld lol

Hvlp gun a steal at 25 bucks lol and it holds a litre of paint he he
also decided to see what the sanders were lick for my grinder as I left my welder in the shed at my house ( mini is at my mums ) got a bit carried away lol
ooops lol was covered in filler and fiberglass but perfectly good metal underneath all be it with a few digs but they will be sorted
during this process my grinder decided to sheet it's self lol
thats the bit put back in minus the lock button lol
heres the culprit
done all the filler with this before it killed the grinder ( just as well I have 2) so wire wheeled the rest
cooking the primer with my heater/light lol job done more tomorrow if I can be assed to take the welder down

who needs to bring the lugs off???? Lol
even better they keep the spacer central :thumb: this may also help prolong wheel bearings lol

metro 4pot calliper to mini hub bolts and metro vented disc flange bolts
and got this nice little parcel from cam auto developments recommended by mini spares
now for the best bit, not only were these guys great over the phone and Internet but I had a small Easter surprise in with my order lol
how goods that lol great service and free nibbles. Can't recommend these guys enough lol
and yes the egg is in its own little vacuumed section lol
