Cheers mate it don't look to hard lol it's all in the prep apparently ha ha will soon see. I just want to be able to look at it finished and say I done everything my self lol perfect or not

Sorry about the crap pics but packed up for the night then remembered to take them lol still got the rear end to do lol all rubbed down with wet 600 paper (what a choir)but one getting there slowly

also made the foot plates to weld in tomtomorrow

bit over kill as there 5mm but it was free to a good home lol a bit thick like the fabricator lol

 Hi Great progess ! - and solution to the fiberglass surprise ad the C pillar. :)

 

But i just have a question regarding the reinforcement plates for your cage. isn't it just enough with one plate on the under side ? the cage has plates it self, welded on the tube end ?

And yes cages do have plates welded to them but that's the problem there attatched so will punch through the floor if you find your self in a pickle lol 3mm plate is minimum I have heard.

In other news

All guide coat gone just a few touchups to rubb down then it's time.to crack out the pannel wipe and tack rags lol fun fun

I can easily understand that feeling. My Mini you just view'd is also my first mini ! - i am soooooo excited ! 

and i hope it will make it to IMM 2014.

There won't be any updates untill the compressor comes back folks sorry only got to sand the touchups and pannel wipe the lot then get the tack rags out then paint time
