I heard that but have also seen loads done this way lol when its welded ang ground and sealed you will never know lol

Not but my best welding but it was a bugger to do had to slice the Fitch to meet the a panel

Done some slicing and re welding myself.  A panel and wing needed jiggling to fit together and as for the welding,  a good coat of stonechip will hide all that !

Well small progress today. Started to finish up the boot floor ready for arch tubbing. It now mounts the subby

both sides done. Tommorow I will finish this up and start to de bumper mount the rear. Not looking foreword to this but can only try. Filler will be my friend if all else fails lol. More soon

Then made a start on the rear. Underseal is the devil took bloody ages but least the paint got time to dry lol

Doin a similar project and was wondering what u used to strip the shell back to metal , also what was the floor like replacing as mine will be replaced soon also trying to get as many opinions as i can

Well if it's just paint a soft wire wheel like the ones for drills but on a grinder but if it's under seal on the floor I used a heat gun with a small paint scraper then turps on a rag after that for the grubby bits also for old filler I use a knot wheel on the grinder. As for the floor it wasn't to bad first time I have done anything like this even the welding lol just don't rush and measure 6 times cut once lol found that out the hard way a few times. My best advice is look at lots of project on here and study how they have been done and if your stuck just ask
