My Clubby Rebuild

I do have a thread on another forum which can be seen here > http://www.scottishm...-clubby-project
So when I got the beast
Since then a lot has changed as you will see ha ha
Striped it all down to a bare shell as I kept finding the dreaded orange metal lol
Went a bit crazy tho
Then decided to build a spit for it to make life that little easier
So far I have replaced the driver Fitch, door post and strenthner, shock mount and inner sill same to do on passengers side and door posts but waiting till mini fair on the 27th to get all panels I need.
In between all that I done all the running gear and subbys while the weather was pants
All painted and polly bushed ready to refit. Also all work on the shell is taking place outdoors so this hold me back a tad
But that most of it so far apart from all boring stuff but will keep posting progress and if you want to see al the boring bits have a look at my other thread above and let me know what you think
Cheers
Marc

been at the mini today for a few hours but not much to show for it lol even tho I had a helper
set the helper about the crossmember I got from a mate
while I set about the passengers shock mount
First patch
second patch cut and ready
all done
and the finished crossmember
took him a while lol but think it may take longer to get the only one out without wreking the floor
also cut out a previous owner bodge while cutting out the old Fitch
this is what I have to contend with lol there's bits like this all over the car and all getting cut out
ah the joys hopefully more tomorrow. Cheers folks

Bodykit had a 6R4 look which I kinda liked. That's good if the performance matched.
Good luck with the build
Cheers bud and I agree with the performance part the 1275 would struggle with the weight of the kit and the amount of fibreglass and filler used to hold it on lol

Started with the N/S Fitch
I'm no welder but am chuffed with this
think I also need some new shaped doors lol
started prepping for the door post also
That's how I left here got floor pans coming (hopefully tomorrow) so might be able to get rid of the bracing tomorrow fingers crossed
