Sills on (not oversills), floors all done and painted.

Been working on the bulkhead. 

 

Scuttle in. Getting the correct gap was an issue but lots of lengths of wood cut to the correct size forced into the windscreen gap and a bit of hammering and its all good.

 

Bulkhead cleaned and repainted in POR15.

Wiper motor park switch and electrical plug replaced.

Wiper motor strap and rubber pad replaced.

Blanking plate replaced with stainless.

Fusebox replaced and connections cleaned or replaced.

Inline fuses replaced and holders cleaned.

Servo bracket removed stripped and painted.

Clutch master removed, seals replaced. stripped and painted.

Master cyl plate replaced with stainless.

Replaced throttle pedal.

Replaced handbrake.

 

Currently doing or on my to do soon list:

 

Stripping heater to replace matrix and clean up housing.

Swap steering column after re-bushing.

Repairing inner wings.

Fit front end panels.

When you have your car upside down is it just resting on the roof? Mine is on its side but that looks a lot easier to work on

Hi.

No it has roof bars fitted. The RSP has a glass sunroof so did not want to risk breaking it.

Been busy rebuilding the front subframe. This Mini will have 4 wheels soon :)

Garage is freezing at the moment and I am not getting any younger. :) 

 

Fingers crossed March is warmer and I will get back in there. It will get done but no rush.

What roof rack have you used to flip your mini? I've been scanning ebay but worried about getting one strong enough.
