This is great, I own both a mini and mx5 and both are awesome, but combined? Wowzaa!
I did skip some of the thread so not sure, but are any of the body panels for sale? I may need a couple bits if your interested in selling them.

Its a mk3 escort RS1600i turbo.

Just a thought, but rather than arch it could you not section the body and widen it so they keep in the body line or mean you can use small arches?

it's so obvious that this is no longer a mini or a MX5 that it doesn't need bringing up
although a guide to what you needed to pass the test could be useful to others on this site that also need their cars BIVAed

i've been watching from the start and it's nice to see something a bit different and it's refreshing to see someone having a go rather than sprouting doom and gloom you can't modify anything any more

Also, it's good digler is doing it because when these builds happen they normally grind to a Halt... Never get finished etc etc....
