I am this close (picture me with thumb and index finger a bees willy away from each other) to ordering a kit, I just need this new job to come through and its happy days from there.
I am excitied as hell and have a million and one questions if I do.

i saw somewhere the boys at pro-motive have turboed one of their kits.
now that is something i would do, would be nice to see pics or any information.

i know that it is a tight fit, but how much bigger is a gsxr1000 or a busa motor, can it be 'massaged' in ???

Big day today - the shell is finally done. Just got a call from the painter to stop by and have a look. I'll bring my camera...will be picking it up on Monday!

Didn't quite make it home with the shell yet, but here are the pics...jeff wants to spend a bit more time wetsanding and polishing - looks good already to me, so I can just imagine what a little spit and swaet will do to it - can't wait to get it home and start bolting bits on!

Clearcoated bonnet and boot lid - very impressed with Nick's "the Carbon Weezel" work on them - very high quality CF fabrication, I did reclear them to match the sheen of the rest of the car, though he supplied them with nice shiny clearcoat already. I highly recommend Nick:

The paint is a 2008 Acura (Honda) color called “Polished Metal Metallic” Code: NH737M

It's a very cool color - looks almost black in some light, and a nice dark metal metallic in others - very happy with the choice!

aww thats the colour scheme ive always dremt of putting on my mini? going for open weave carbon arches too?
