I'm really happy with the kit so far, very high quality engineering, fabrication, and welding - credit given to Darren and Phil! There are a few more pictures of the kit on the Promotive site but I can take some detailsed pictures if you're interested in anything specific...

that looks fantastic, got any more pics of that bit im really intersted in getting a kit.

Good progress this weekend...the engine and subby is all ready to go into the shell...minus the exhaust header, which should be back from ceramic coating this week - with any luck, the same day the shell gets back into the garage for the first time since December when it went off to the painter (damn they are slow!)

that was an experiment, I've flipped it now so th echain runs under the tension idler...moved the tension adjuster / springto the rearward hole on the tension lever arm and the frame too, which seems to have cured all my clearance issues. Will post pictures in a day or so.

Very nice, just curious how the whole chain drive to shafts work, any chance of a phot from the back of the frame.

Wolfhound, the front shaft turns the front sprocket, withthe chain driving the input to the diff. the diff input drives the main differential gear, reversing (correcting) the engine rotation direction - very slick!

Is this cool or not? I'm doing all the std Austin Se7en badges on the replacement exposed carbon boot and bonnet...you guys decide whther or not this one makes the cut!

i have to add my two cents here..

this car is going to be great for sure. no doubts.

about the whole pro-motive project, i havent been able to stop thinking about it for months, this is killing me slowly not being able to start this off.

my 76 mini has so much rust, it aint funny, but nothing a bit of hard work cant cure. hhhmmmmm *sigh*

I am this close (picture me with thumb and index finger a bees willy away from each other) to ordering a kit, I just need this new job to come through and its happy days from there.
I am excitied as hell and have a million and one questions if I do.
