Grille and bonnet installed, as well as arches and arch / body trim.

Currently working on finishing the door cards and door checks, and final fitting of the dash.
last is wiring, which I'm about 25% through with.
The only thing that will remain then before the beastie is done is to fit the exhaust system, which will involve a bit of bracket fab due tu using the ally beam axle vs the rear subframe.

Inner carbon door skin installed, passenger side - I'm really happy with how rigid / solid the skin makes the door once it's rivited in place. it now closes with a satisfied carbon clunk...

Installed main fuse panel (from Painless Performance), started pulling wires last night after I got it mounted up with bracketry...I made a flip-down cover on the Curley dash that will hide the panel when not in use...

Finishing up the last tiny bit of mechanical work and getting on with the electrical

what do you do about reverse then?
how much has this cost you so far then and have you had previous experience ?
i plan to do an r1 front engined mk1 mini in a couple of years.

i have, my carb has died, so ive had to put on a 998 carb. no power upto 4k but its smooth then naf all beyond, just falls flat on its face.
the power band starts at sort of 3800 however
im considering an r1, that thing looks the mutts nuts, well done to you!
