Some updated pictures - the engine is completely plumbed now - only wiring remaining. Brake plumbing finished, battery installed, fuel cell installation 80%. Still remaining on the interior are some ally panels for the footwells, and carbon inner panels for the doors. I got my poly windows the other day and they should go in sometime this weekend or early next week.

The attention to detail is fantastic! I really love some of the things you've done with this car.

I gather that the braided lines running inside the car are the brake lines?

Yup, AN-3 braided lines for brakes - wanted to put them in the car to get them as cool as possible...and get the pressure regulator accesible.

Hi Aric,

Great looking project! (where do you find the time?)

Is that dashboard from Curly? just curious.

Cheers,
Les

Hi Les,

Yup, Curley for the dash....

I work on the cars in the evening after the wife and kiddies go to bed - which is why I walk around like a Zombie most days...

Poor lighting in these pictures, but I'm pretty proud of my poly window installations, and the refurbed (cleaned and polished) original front glass installation with blackout shade on top.

What do you chappies think of the door mounted number meatballs and the GP2 (or GP6) arches? I messed around with the Miglias this wekend, and they just don't look as "finished" as the GP2s IMO...

Man, this part of the build takes a long time! So much work and little measurable visual progress...ugh...

I'm not sure those arches suit the wheels so well... They look a bit over arched IMO.

I think it looks awesome, though i didn't compare against a pic with the Miglias. I think it'll look much better when the ride height is sorted too.
