As always, use the Haynes manual. The wire colours are all shown.

Right, let's give him a hand with that, as Haynes only shows dynamos with toggle switches, and there are some minor differences, which will be confusing.

On the light switch, 4 is incoming battery/alternator power, which is brown on an alternator car but shown as brown/blue on dynamo diagram. 8 is headlight feed to dip switch, which is always blue. 1 is side/tail which is always red.

Wiper switch, 6 is incoming fused power, controlled by ignition switch, which is always green. 1 is red-light green and 8 is brown-light green to the wiper motor.

Try that and get back to us with any additional questions.

By the way, the toggle switches are better made than the later rockers, and more reliable.

The heated rear window switch should have incoming fused and ignition controlled green, and a green-yellow to the rear screen, plus a second green-yellow on the same terminal to the warning light. Green on pin 1 and green-yellow on pin 4 according to Haynes. By "earth" I take it that you mean green-yellow as used on domestic wiring. Earths in the car are black. Now you may not have a warning lamp now, as it was built into the rocker switch, which is why you should have a spare black wire, and it is a good idea to fit one somewhere. There may be one or more spare warning light positions on your speedo, which could be used.

I am guessing that it is a wiper switch with pins 1, 6, 7 and 8, so it may give you an extra intermediate position which you will not want, if it was for 2 speed wipers. Anyway, it will still be able to work as a simple switch. It seems from Haynes that pins 7 and 8 are probably the two that you want, power in on any one (green) and the other to the rear window (green-yellow). If that does not work, try 1 and 8.
