plastic welder ?


It depends on the type of plastic. Plastic welders are great to fix a crack in a plastic bumper but you need to be able to V both sides of the crack to get enough hot material in the void. They are not really suitable to fill a hole.

I remember demonstrating one at a Classic Car show in Excel many years ago on a College stand. I drew quite a crowd and could of sold hundreds of them. Sadly I had none to sell but was trying to get new students for the course. LOL

Thanks for all the replies, think I have sourced a replacement one for the sum of 5 whole pounds but I'm sure this thread will be helpful to someone in the future.
