Basically its a 1979 mini 1100 special (20th anniversary) in silver, the engine has been rebuilt in 2012 and is now tuned to provide 75BHP (with paperwork)
The gearbox is a 1275GT close ratio item and was rebuilt at the same time as the engine and has a central oil pick up etc, approx 1500 miles done since, the transfer gears are straight cut and i will supply a set of standard transfer gears with the car if you want to put them back to standard.
The engine is fitted with (rebuilt) twin Hs2 carbs with original cooper 's' air filter casing.
The exhaust system comprises of a maniflow cooper freeflow manifold and a twin box RC40 exhaust system.
The car is taxed until the end of jan and has mot until october 2013.
I have a folder full of receipts and history for the car, the vinyl roof was replaced last year (with the correct leyland black vinyl)
The wheels are mint as is much of the rest of the car, the car has never had a restoration which is a rarity in itself for one of these cars!
a lot of money has been spent on this car to bring it up to the condition that its in now and i think that the asking price is a fair one, i've seen basket case silver mini specials which need a full restoration sell for nearly £2000 and apart from the restoration costs the buyers have to spend months trying to source the bits and pieces that were only fitted to these cars.
i want £3800 for the mini, no timewasters please and no test drives without proof of insurance either!!
