Posted over on RR but I'll post here too

Can you tell me what I need to buy to lower and individualise mine?
What valves do I need to buy? If any?

Sorry to be a pain :P

I'm being stupid I think...I'll blame the time

Is there a guide to doing this? I can only find one for lowering

I literally wouldn't know where to start
I feel really thick at the moment haha :(

i must admit, without looking at your car and seeing the pipes, i couldnt tell you as yours is plumbed up totally different to mk1s, but im sure if you look at the unions it will be self explanitory.

if you get the kit, ill show you what to do, its not going to be hard im sure....

deflate the system, fit these new unions/plugs, re-gass it. jobsagoodun!

shortening the trumpets/rods to stiffen it and lower it is more time consuming, but thats a job for another day!

I used to do my metro GTi's back in the day, but that was straight forward.
Inch or so off the knuckles, and raid the rear valves off another metro & junk the pipes.

i must admit i was really surprised how much material i had to take off the front trumpets to get it as low as i wanted at the higher pressure i wanted, i started off only taking about 15mm off and it hardly made a difference!
