which model volvo is it you mean dude? i cant picture them?
at the time they were putting these on the metro they were making very similar alloys in various sizes for maestro, montego, mini (chelsea/ritz whichever it was) jaguar xjs/xj40 etc etc etc its just a big flat disc with some funny shaped holes at the outside lol!

i have been toying with the idea of having them mirror polished!

and here they are months later!
i have been thinking of doing this for ages, but i needed to get myself in the mood for tons of work, sore fingers, and massive boredom while i was doing them, and yeah, my fingers are sore, and i have spent about 14 hours in the workshop the last 2 days to produce 3 wheels so far!
i have got to clean inside the holes/spokes now as i am going to paint them black down there to contrast the shiny faces. i have got some centre caps to put in there too, but i need to get some stickers made up to go on them, dunno what to have on them yet though.
hopefully get them on the car next week!

you and me both! i think they are going to give the car the lift it has needed for a while now.
im sure they are going to be a total paint to keep looking like that though, especially as the metro is my daily!

right as promised, i got the new wheels on today. i was going to get two new tyres, and pinch the rear two off the wheels on the car, however, when i checked them today, they wernt anywhere near as good as i thought they were! no point fitting them only to have to change them again in a few months. so there is a set of new maxxis 175-50-13s on now, and i have my old wheels as spares or for when it snows etc.
the suspension is in its "winter" setting at the minute, i have lifted it up an inch all round until the weather improves! the other reason for lifting it up a little is that i have been doing more mobile work recently and one of my regular customers has a speed bump at the end of her drive that the exhaust catches on!

Can you tell me what I need to buy to lower and individualise mine?
What valves do I need to buy? If any?
Sorry to be a pain
