Honestly, i find the suspension so much better with some of the fluid out, when it had a standard pressure system, it was like i was driving constantly through a muddy ploughed field lol
I want your wheels! How do you take the fluid out equally on the front I'm scared to try its under alot of pressure isn't it?

As for the front system, i did it by eye, the system has a lot of pressure and squirts out the fluid at a high rate, but try catch it in a jar, then mark fluid level on the jar, then save the fluid in a bottle marked hydro fluid, then use the jar to catch the fluid from the other side until its up to the same level as the other 1, thats how i did it! Just dont let too much out as the can bottom out lol

i have got shortened trumpets all round and individualised units. i also have my own hydro pump so i spent days fiddling with it to get it right, i have got gaz adjustables on the front too which have made a huge difference.
it now handles very well, and is very predictable even when your pressing on quite hard down the lanes, there is much more feel through hthe steering wheel than you might imagine too.
however, as it is now as low as you can go without running into any problems, and quite stiff, with 175-50-13 tyres, its pretty uncomfortable over crap road surfaces. pot holes have you swerving all over the road as it shakes the life out of you, i am considering lifting it up a little and softening it up a bit!
as i use the car everyday, and its also my "works van" i use for lugging my welding gear and engineering clobber, it does get a little tiring sometimes, and everytime i go to one regular customer (the lady with the boat), i scrape the exhaust on their speed hump!

Metro van??
if it were that simple, i would just panel my rear quarter windows out.
i need something bigger to get everything in, and an estate would be ideal, with no rear panel to have to lift everything over it would make life easier, and would mean allot less lifting.
i would like a classic estate so as to keep the dirt cheap insurance, im quite posibly thinking, allegro estate, cortina est, granada est etc etc.

the problem is, despite business being good, i coulnt afford to buy a new caddy van, and certainly wouldnt want to insure it ££££££!
the otehr thing is if you slam it and fit cool wheels you cant put anything in the back and you have zero ground clearance, which would put me back in tha same position im in now lol.
its going to have to be a classic!
