I have decided to remove my bonnet stripes and side pinstripes from my cooper, what is the best way of going about doing this? Do I need to warm the stripes with a hairdryer or what?
Thanks for your help

So, here's the plan:
What about the laurels though?
- Warm the top of the stripe with a hairdryer
- Slowly peel off the stripe
- Once removed, use some polishing compound to remove any residue/dirt
- Use IPA to strip the wax from the bonnet, and apply a fresh coat of wax/sealent

Leave the laurels on and IPA? I'd just use washing up liquid, thats all it does when you wash a car with washing up liquid its strong enough to take all the wax/sealant off (Y)

Oh then exactly the same process, little head and peel away.
How comes you don't want them?

I wouldn't put washing up liquid near my car, its got salts in it.
