mind if I ask what have you used to hinge them? Yours are nice and neat, make my road sign ones look crap!

Stripped the motor of its ancillaries and gave it another good clean in preparation for paint :

Will the motor be getting a full rebuild? Or has that already happened at some point in the recent past?

New seals and some gaskets will do for now. It's got low mileage on, so shouldn't need a rebuild, but it does seem to have had some work done in the past.

Really hope you can get the paint off the gearbox casing and flywheel housing, since those parts don't look great when they are painted.

It's actually cleaning up quite nicely. It's cool to start seeing the clean aluminium underneath that old paint.

I might put a little paint stripper on to get into the tight corners.
