Keen to see how the bonnet straps look on your car.

I fitted the other MC expansion tube (also just really enjoy seeing the faces in the engine bay) :

Test fitted the bonnet straps - just need to do some work on getting them to be tight :

I like the bonnet straps. Definitely adds another element of rally car to the mk3 :)

Coming along nicely, looking really good man! Liking the bucket seat and bonnet straps, what are the MC extensions for?

Thanks  :proud: Extra fluid and to see the fluid level without taking the cap off.

Decided on the hooter I'll be using for the car :

Also, I took the flywheel and clutch off today to do the oil seal sometime. I've never done this before, so was a bit unsure. Turned out to be a 10min job with no hassles - something will definitely go wrong later on then. The clutch is still in great condition (excuse the dirt and leaves; August winds don't help) :

How loud is that horn going to be? Any legal decibel levels for horns here in SA?

It's not too bad. Enough to be heard. More the fact that the sound is unique. I don't know the legalities regarding db levels from a horn.

Nothing important, but I did manage to finally get the rocker seals to fit. The holes needed to be opened up a bit.

I also got the locknuts machined down to fit the Force wheels.

Lastly, I added a couple stickers, thanks to Malcolm.

Bought some yellow perspex and started making this :

Definitely needs some work to get it looking nice and working nicely, but the idea is there.

Hmmm...
