Were they scared of the rain as well :P

Maybe  >_<

Nah, the guy was supposed to come up with the owner of the panelbeater, but he just left without telling the owner. I hope they come tomorrow . . .

Another Big Thumbs up for South African customer service...

The customer service is as bad as the postal service . . .

Probably not as bad as the current government or the president's fire pool logic...

Or the exchange rate . . .

Or our current electricity situation... and what makes it worse it is in the middle of winter :(

Anyway, hopefully those people come through tomorrow and give you a chance to get the paintwork checked.

Are schools on holiday at the moment?

The list is almost endless . . .

I sure hope they do! Not yet, another 3 weeks or so. Then it's a 3 week holiday.

You two must stop bashing our country man! ;) Its still home...

And the postal service has gone back to normal. I've been getting stuff in record time recently.

Loadshedding has also been suspended for Winter, so things are looking up!

@Vinay Jhb schools are still in, busy writing exams according to my bro.

@Jared I really hope for your sake tomorrow sun is out and the important people rock up there tomorrow to sort you out! Hopefully it will be an easy fix!

Haha yeah we can hope for change and make the best of the current situation. It's cool that they won't have loadshedding (hopefully) for the rest the winter :) Also cool to hear the post is working again.

Nah, I really do love living here, especially in my little town.  :proud:

I hope so too. I'm dreading having to strip the car again . . . If they don't do anything about it I'm packing up and leaving it.

So the reps came around and had a look at the car. Thankfully they suggest I only get the driver's door and passenger fender resprayed, but it means taking it down to metal - the joys. I did get a snap of her in the sun though :

So that means you are not going to pack her away for a very long time then?

I just hope for your sake that they can match the paint colour. Another shade of blue will just destroy all your hard work you've put in.

I'm going to see what's happening about my second tank today hopefully. I did get this epoxy sealant kit for both tanks though. This should mean no rust in the tank :

It's a local product, so I'm happy to support South African.

Does it go inside the tanks? How does that work?

Yes. It's like a coating that goes over the metal on the inside (once it has been cleaned). I still need to have a good look at the kit, but the people were so helpful. I even got discount.

Decided to break her out for a wash. Was wanting to make a little progress today, but a little over it. Hopefully I'll get my right hand tank back on Monday.
