Thanks man. I actually tried googling it before asking and found a bunch of weird answers that didn't make sense. Were they the Aussie equivalent of BMC SA or Leyland SA?

Nah. If you were to look at nearly all the mechanical parts on a Mini, you'll find MOWOG stamped there. It was essentially BMC, all over the world.

Or our current electricity situation... and what makes it worse it is in the middle of winter
Anyway, hopefully those people come through tomorrow and give you a chance to get the paintwork checked.
