Too uncomfortable to be working in, especially trying to get into tight spaces and awkward positions to put something in.

Well, if it makes you feel better, I've spent the last 5 months barefoot and topless while working on the car

Screw it, I was bored and I got over the pain of the foot, so my brother and I went out for an hour or two. Here's the results :

RHS tank test fitted. I need to put some spreader plates in then it'll be good to go. There's still some work to be done, but the platform is there.

Dude, that military container is brilliant! I want one!!! The size would be perfect for pretty much any roadside spares one could use.

I'm leaving it just as it is, scars and all. I think it's really cool.

Yes, just cut it on the side to fit. It was rough, so thought I might as well use it.

Yeah you can cover it with some nice grippy material, so that the army surplus spares container doesn't slide around and it'll look like it was meant to be there :)

What would have been stored in the container when it was in service?

More than likely ammo of some kind.

I don't wear shoes either... Must be a southern hemisphere thing! The problem is if your garage floor is like mine you end up with dirty oily feet to match your hands  :D

It must be a southern hemisphere thing! Depending on what day it is at work, I'm barefoot, shorts and a shirt, cap and sunglasses  But yes, dirty feet does pose a problem! As do the screws you've dropped and find by stepping on them . . .

I've been reading through this whole thread, and I've got to say mate, a lot of hard work has gone into this, resulting in one of the most unique and stunning minis I've ever seen! Well done and Keep it up!
