hi guys,

i was wondering if anyone can help, im looking to build a sound system in my mini and i am just completely confused about which component speakers to by, i already have 2 kicker Solo Baric S10L7 Subs so im going to need some speakers with crisp, clear, and loud to hear the music over the bass,

my ideal budget is £100 or less but am willing to pay a little more if the product is worth it

any advice would be helpful,

Cheers

Brad

Vibe are considered by many to be the best of the budget brands. They hit (and sound) way higher than the price point.

I will always recommend looking for secondhand when building your first system. Talkaudio has a great classified section, many great bargains with sellers that are mainly enthusiasts.

Are you amping the comps? I guess you have an amp for the sub, so to keep up with its output you will need a good amount of power to the comps...

ive always been a fan of pioneer stuff. But i got a set of hertz components, amp'd them. and they sounded amazing. cost about 130 but well worth it.
I only had these in the front and 1 sub in the back and it beat the pants off an earlier, much larger, system i had.

in the dash in the pic below. before i took the mini to bits. still aint put it back together.

+1 for hertz. Had a listen to a 2-way set a while back, sounded pretty good.
