there were probably others crashed
my Dad used to ferry a lot of BMC / Leyland around to the airfields
there were quite a few big accidents there and a few deaths over the years - sadly

i also heard that it had fallen off the line.
there are several threads on 28dayslater, its a great site and im partial to a little urbex-ing myself!
Same here, urbexing is my favourite hobby lol.

With the sharp "v" in the roof - it doesn't look rolled , but dropped

hi well i dont have any "evidence as my dad died in 97 and my mom died in 2005 ironically she died on 20 april 2005 the official day the factory closed and i worked there from 1986 to 1992 if you need the evidence i will supply it but i will need to know what you need it for ...also my father in law who drove a taxi in the 60s used to every morning pick up alec issigonis and bring him to longbridgeCan i see evidence of you / your parents working at the factory? Information like this is rare and the more we have the better ;)

the mini and the tunnels are no longer in the hands of mg the tunnels are now owned by the devolopers and with the land being devoloped the tunnels will soon be capped of i work closeley with the devolopers and the demolition guys so i have had a LEGAL access to the tunnels and the miniAre you working at SAIC

the developers are st modwen who will cap off the tunnel i myself have retrieved alot of pieces from the old austin factory all legaly with the developers and the demolition companies consent i wish i could of saved more ...as for the mini its a shame it was never given the chance some purists say it should stay for prosterity myself i believe it should be removed but as the tunnels have been bricked up to just a door sized opening i dont think it will ever be removed ...such a shame realy as it is the last mini to leave longbridge i bet some mini owners would love to say that.....i own the last mini to leave longbridgeWho legally owns the land/car though?
