Good man for getting it out i say. I dont know why all these people are getting all worked up about it coming out as i would never have been seen again i am 50/50 thoe weather or no you should restore it.

Its not so much a restoration, more building it for the first time. Its really exciting cant wait to see it when its complete

I'm behind it 100% - Restore it

what is the purpose of a wreck ? - it would have been dragged out for scrap & crushed or dumped for ever

Cars are meant to be driven - there is no purpose in decay - esp when not seen

He has a hell of a task ahead of him - support him - or why are you on this forum ???

Just cant see how it would of fallen off and stayed there, without them removing it when it fell off? O_O

Elaborate but maybe it fell of when the shell was being rased in the air and landed on like a hand rail? It would explain the V shaped dent.

Would have thought it would have just been scrapped by them

good stuff steve i wish you all the good luck in the world to restore it and will be watching the progress with a lot of interest i think that taking it on was the right thing to do no point in it rusting away..:D!!

Anyone else like to see it semi restored? All its dents and bumps left.

Obviously not the roof being caved in!

The car was finished and was being driven around the site as a pool car for 11 miles it then i belive had a storage container fall on it hence the big v shaped dent..so it was once a complete car that they hid down the tunnel

With some of the stories you hear about Longbridge, this could be a believeable transcript of a converstaion...
