Are you going to get the shell checked for whatever they said they we're going to do on classic car rescue but didn't actually do?

Anybody know how it had such a nasty crease in the roof?? Surely not from just falling off the line

And right down the middle too.

Good for you Steve.

Most people will support you here on what you have done and hats off to you for it!

It would seem a very small minority on here are getting there knickers in a twist and feel they have the right to tell you what you can and cant do. Just ignore them.
You own the car/shell/scrap metal legally and no title has ever been issued to this vehicle.

Just the naive usual bunch that will cause issues but its just jealousy ;D

If the thread was started in another way that you had the opportunity to do it and didn't then they would have given you hate for that too.
Let them burn their bras and sing round a camp fire while the rest of us enjoy what I'm sure will be an epic rebuild thread.

Welcome to the forum by the way.
Its great to get a fun new easy going member. You've taken childish criticisms very well indeed.

are you restoring to the spec of an original 1275 GT?

I hope so, please no silly chav-tastic mods on this one ;)

50/50 wether it should be out or not, but fair play to you for putting the effort in.

I can't believe more people aren't behind this. It's a poor Mini that never had the life it deserved. It fell of the production line before being finished, it was then dumped alone in the cold and dark for over 30 years and the only people it ever saw vandalised it. If it had of been left there it would have been buried or left to rot away totally. It's now gonna get that life it deserved by being restored and finally being driven. Image how good it would feel on it's maiden journey!!!
