How To Get My Log Book ?

hi i recently bought a mini shell with no number plates or log book i have the commission number and car number eg xk2s1 i am just wondering if anyone on here can point me in the right direction to get the log book any help would be great thanks

I think first plan of action would be to get a heritage certificate then contact dvla see what else they need.

Do you know what the reg number was?

If so just apply to the DVLA and pay your £25

You Will also need a vin number. Dvla Will give you a blank look if you try to get v5 without one. I think they assume you stole it!
I explained to dvla person that my mini had New front end and had lost vin plate. Short blank look then he explained that i might find the vin under the bonnet at the front of the car. Stunned blank look from me , then i left.
