Have just bought my daughter a 2002 BMW Mini and was wondering what forums are best for these cars.

Always been very impressed with this site and am keen to register with a likewise forum for the new cars.

We are keeping the clasic mini of course :-)

Cheers for the replies everyone - thats great.

Yes picking it up next week as grage is putting 12 months mot on for me. Its a 2002 Mini One in that lovely dark metallic blue.

First job will be swapping the radio cassette head unit for a radio cd - seems plenty on ebay

Sounds very nice, I'm on the Total Mini forum under the same user name as this, browse on Mini2 aswell but TM always seems a wee more helpful! :P

Changing the head unit is an easy job, half hour job and you'll have it all done! :D

Yes, TotalMINI is a good forum especially for UK owners and even has a small section for classic owners or those who own both.
http://www.totalmini.com/forum/84-classic-mini/

MINI2 has a vast archive of MINI technical information and is more international.

NAM (North American Motoring) the USA MINI forum also has answers to almost any MINI technical problem and is easy to search.

MINI Torque is good for competition and performance tuning mods:

There are also many regional MINI forums/clubs around the UK like Surrey New MINI:
