I've got 2 broken studs on the bonnet hinges, I can either drill them out and put a couple of bolts through or change the hinges themselves but can't see where the hinges attach to the body, any ideas guys ?

Once you put the bonnet seal in the gutter on the panel where the wipers are (don't know the name of it) as long as the seal is the self adhesive 1" strip type you'll be ok (the bonnet will sit closed properly,if you put door seal instead along the lip the bonnet will warp and not sit closed correctly.

Just sussed this out on mine, previous owner had fitted door seal and warped and kinked the bonnet.

The hinges are a permanent part of the body, just a pair of brackets each side up under the scuttle. They just hold a bolt with nylon nut which is the actual pivot. The part attached to the bonnet, which you wish to repair or replace, simply slots between the two hinge brackets before inserting the bolt.
