Morris Cooper S Mini Sprint MK II 1969 for Restoration

For those who don't know, a Sprint is a very rare beast - the roof is obviously chopped, but (usually) so is the body, so the whole thing sits MASSIVELY lower.
Here's the bumf:

For Restoration and Race Preparation
Condition as Used and for Restoration.
I bought this car, parts 11 years ago now, and i don't have the time and space for finsh or continued.
This car has always been in racing version, no for/or on the road
She have a flat bottom at the Rear parcel, Genuine Period 3 Points Rollcage and Kangol Harness.
In the 60's and the 70's, she have a 1293 Cooper S Engine with an Arden 8 Port Cylinder Head and Twin 45 Weber Carbs,
S. Cut Gearbox and Salisbury LSD, with Hardy Spicer
The front bonnet is in 1 Piece Fiberglass and with Genuine Gr.5 wheel arch
I have a 1275 Cooper S engine, cranksfhaft, set of Conrods, gearbox, lightened Flywheel Clutch
2 Fuel tank, clutch kit, Stage 3 Cylinder Head, for rebuild the engine but no Arden Head sorry !
Brand New Water Pump, Thermostat housing, Engine Gaskets Sets.
For the body, she need some repair as you can see on pics, i have asked at my my coach builder,
a quotation for the repair and new paint and is at 3000 Euros.
Need a new Rear boot lid

That's not an original Sprint, the body on a Sprint is always chopped, and this one has not been done, if it's just a roof chop than that's what it is, a roof chop. The car is a MK2, no period Sprints were ever based on the MK2, to be an original Sprint the car must have been modified by Neville Trickett / GT Equipment or S&A, the last know period conversion by any of these companies was done in 1970 as a one off, approximately two years after series production stopped at S&A, that was also based on a MK1. With this car you would be getting a period race car, but it's 100% not a Mini Sprint as far as I can see
