Hi everyone, well on Tuesday while travelling to work I was hit up the arse by
a F******g hoody Saxo ...... doesn't look bad in the photo's but can't open the boot
much , but can just see that the boot floor has been buckled....

Had an insurance quote , due to the labour required for all the mods to the required new panels , said the
bill would be around the £2k mark . not a straight foward repair...

Happened to me back in may, cost my insurance 1.3k to repair. Did you have it on an agreed valuation?

Yes Konyo , his insurance is paying for it , it may write it off as it's around 80% of the value..

because someone had damaged your car they had to put right the damage

a write offs a write off bungle but as long as its a cat c or d you can buy it back for pennys and fix it or break it!

I wouldn't say Pennies.... Bought mine bank for £600. With not a huge amount of damage either

I got 2k for my cupra and bought it bk for 300 made another2k in bits :)

They don't have to repair it, if it'd cost more than paying for a reasonable replacement they can give you the money to buy one.

if you are lucky enough to have it repaired, then thats good, but they'll mess you around
