Technically wouldn't the screen have been toughened and not the laminated one that was 'dropped' or have black edging.

No need to jig / brace cars anymore - just check the screen fits & it will be fine
did I see someone grind the head gasket off in one clip ? - or was I mistaken ?
the 'old' donor screen had wet sealant on it so it was easy to wire cut out
as said above - why the rush all the time ?
