Paul is the true mechanic on that show.
I love watching for the errors in all of these programs and the new bits that dont make it onto the budget.
What I do want to know is where they find some of these cars without major mechanical defects or lots of rot for bargain basement money????

They did the same with the previous car but i havent seen that show.

It really was pretty dreadful. A "made for TV" bodge from begining to end but I did like the "highly respected" valuer who walked around a freshly painted - that should set his alarm bells off - car, didn't apear to check any of the known problem areas for a 911 and then said "I do like the seat trim" ........... Yeah, right.

The valuer works for RM Auctions, so I guess he is not a marque expert.

Fair comment. It just annoys me when a real programme could have been made which was both entertaining and informative. I guess my sense of humour is at odds with Channel 5 although judging from their feedback, a lot of people feel as I do.
But; I don't think the expert did himself any favours.
