yep ive entered. just spent the last hour shouting and swearing at the tv. also when looking at the mini bernie said he knows all about minis then gets the tappet gaps wrong! and filler in the rotted wings! and not painting that engine, 30mins with a tin of paint and a brush and it would look 10x better.

if i win im going to strip it all down and send details to channel five asking for the money to fix it properly

I don't see how some of the engine bay(bulkhead) was painted, without the engine being painted, surely the engine must be out to do it?
And in the end it's a different steering wheel to the one Bernie buys? :mmkay:

Admit it, who has entered the comp?

I may have done.. 3 times :proud:

I might have done too... But 6...

It saddens me that this is the quality of british vehicle restoration shows that TV execs seem to want to finance.

Oh how I long for the days of Mark Evans' A car Is Born ect shows. They were actually something of substance that you could learn from instead of this crappy MTV style scripted *******.

OMG I started this can of worms and then end up on the programme. Yep, that's me and my mate Fat Tony at L2B with the knotted hankies on our heads wittering on about a day at the seaside. I'm very, very sorry.

This show makes me sick, all the people are complete morons. Mario is the worst "car dealer" ever and Bernie acts like a spoiled 3 year old.
Shame on whoever gave this show the go ahead @ C5. I wont be watching after the mini episode. Rant Over!! :mmkay:

I have to say though, this episode was a little more informative, but it reaaaally irritates me how they laugh in peoples faces when they state a price, or attack/pull bits of the cars then not buy it

Turned it off and played xbox at the break, the bit where he cut the floor with the carpets in and it set on fire really wound me up >_<

It started out as a 1975 Mini with no indicator wing repeaters then when it went on the truck to go to the bodyshop it had holes in both wings for repeaters and 12" wheels........then it came back without repeater holes and on 10" wheels.........
